I am writing a simple component wrapping smsj (the library for sending SMS
messages). I'd like to contribute it but I have a question before I
finish:
When using a component to send an SMS the smsj classes may throw an exception.
What cocoon exception class should be used to recast this exception? I have
seen that in some cases ProcessingException is being used but I have also seen
a PatternException.

PS. SUN library README says that the only official implementation for RS232
protocol is for Win32 and Solaris. The docs also state there is some
unofficial version for Linux. I know some of you use MacOS. Do you also have
javax.comm implementation available?
