http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25281 Make it possible to use continuations in clustered environments Summary: Make it possible to use continuations in clustered environments Product: Cocoon 2 Version: Current CVS 2.1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Flowscript AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] See http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=107049174800008&r=1&w=2 - postings on 07/12/2003 Pier (http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xml-cocoon-dev&m=107083408900793&w=2): "Regarding contination IDs it depends on where that is stored. If it's stored in the HttpSession and you are using cookies, then you have troubles, otherwise no troubles at all... Of course if you're deploying on clustered environments, then you have to redirect the continuation to the JVM that holds it, so you either need to look (on the proxy) at the continuation ID, or if that is stored in the session to the Session ID and redirect accordingly... Regarding continuation IDs, it might be great to have a config parameter in the Flow (in cocoon.xml) where you can specify something like an unique-id which can be used to uniquely identify the JVM that created that ID and holds the continuation itself..."
