Wow, weird! This means that the memory store was the only one really useful. Being limited to 100 objects in the default sitemap, that doesn't make an efficient cache...
Our store *really* needed some enhancements. I'm currently working on it, and will commit your patch very soon along with the other modifications I proposed.
Are we sure the code in that bug is used? We use the JISP implementation which I would assume has overridden that method?
