Hi:
In October I made a request to eliminate Pizza compiler from the distribution. Alfred Nathaniel pointed me to this bug related to eclipse compiler:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=38637
But we have eclipse compiler as the default.
Can we need to switch back to pizza?
No, I don't think so. Pizza has much more issues, especially in weird classloading environments since it's classpath based while eclipse JTD compiler is classloader based.
I personally think that if you hit the 64K method limit in XSP you are doing something wrong in the first place and you should use xinclude down the pipeline instead of putting everything in one big XSP page.
So, -1 on moving back to pizza.
