Some people at Opera Software don't like the bloated XForms specification, and wrote an alternate specification to extend the current form handling in HTML in a backwards compatible way.

Interestingly, this specification introduces many concepts that map closely to what we have in Woody, and the most surprising is repeaters. The spec introduces a repeater semantic to avoid lenghty repetitions to build tables, and even introduces the equivalent to repeater-action and row-action to add/remove/move lines in tables. However, the usefullness of this seems limited by the fact that this feature cannot be used if the various instances of the repeater have different values (as is always the case in a pre-filled form).

Anyway, this is an interesting read.
