Also I have no problem with Jetty included in the cocoon distribution. There is a problem with Tomcat 4.1.29 because it sets the http encoding header to ISO-8859- 1 and cocoon serializer does not reset it to correct value. This issue does not affect Jetty. That is why I've written I succesfully create web applications that use polish language.
