Sorry about this, but a code freeze is a code freeze. If the new DELI version should break compatibility with some device, we must give users some time to test it and report bugs. You cannot perform such a test by yourself and certainly not in a couple of days.
I propose to include the update right after the end of the code freeze and plan a 2.1.7 release in about a month from now. If we return to releasing more frequently, there will be less need for last-minute updates.
