I'm not quite sure maybe someone else should answer this, but I think the way it goes is by sending in a patch through Bugzilla, once validated it'll be integrated
Yes that's correct. Open an issue in Bugzilla and use the prefix "[patch]". That's the safest (and IMH only) way that it doesn't get forgotten.
