http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32541 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-12-07 22:05 ------- I like the idea of using HttpClient as base of an include transformer - especially as our CIncludeTransformer provides (maybe the most important, http://cocoon.apache.org/2.1/userdocs/transformers/cinclude-transformer.html) parts of the functionality. But maintaining all the HTTP RFC stuff ourself makes no sense IMO. The best idea would be to use CInclude syntax and an implementation based on HttpClient. We would have all the features of HttpClient then and no need to fix the issues like bug #32491 (though it seems to be a Xalan issue there) ourselves. BTW, the name should be after functionality and not implementation, i.e. no HttpClientTransformer, but (C)IncludeTransformer. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
