Over the last weeks I've setup new documentation repositories in whiteboard/doc-repos. I want to make two of them

 cocoon/whiteboard/doc-repos/2.2 and
 cocoon/whiteboard/doc-repos/portal-block

official documentation repositories. This means moving them to

 cocoon/trunk/src/documentation and
 cocoon/blocks/portal/trunk/src/documentation

(Note that for now the repository at cocoon/whiteboard/doc-repos/global remains where it is, until it is filled with content and ready to replace the current repository at cocoon/site/src.)

The new repositories can be build using Forrest 0.6 and the doctype of documents is HTML (for now, until the online-editing scenario is in available). Each document consist of a directory that contains the content (content_en.html), meta data (meta.xml) and a subdirectory 'files' that can contain resources like images.

Before replacing the documents in cocoon/trunk/src/documentation, Upayavira will ensure that all docs that differ from the 2.1 docs will be saved.

Detailed explanations on how the new documentation system is supposed to work can be found at http://wiki.apache.org/cocoon/CocoonDocumentationSystemSUMMARY and at http://wiki.apache.org/cocoon/22NewDocuments.
