I'll try to add the static stuff to trunk very soon now. Then we have
two solutions, yours in 2.1.x and mine in trunk and we can then decide
which way we want to go.
OK. I think I can make the code in 2.1.x a little cleaner. I'm away
from home but will see if I can't get that checked in. After the pain I
went through I have a feeling you are going to end up with something
similar. The ParameterAspect makes life interesting.
