I think you just have to :
add a dependency in your maven project.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>log4j</groupId>
<artifactId>log4j</artifactId>
<version>1.2.13</version>
</dependency>
and if you have to change or add a target jar repository
modify a line in your project.properties :
maven.repo.remote=http://maven-plugins.sourceforge.net/maven,http://www.ibiblio.org/maven,http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/maven
I hope it will help .

Anyway, i tried to find informations on how to put that jar anywhere to
have it downloaded by maven, but found nothing. If you have a good
pointer to some documentation I'll try to set it up ASAP.
http://cocoon.zones.apache.org/daisy/documentation/g1/756.html - at the
bottom of the page. I just updated the docs - thanks for having a look
at this. It's not hard to do at all, but if you find the docs somehow
misleading or wrong in any way let me know and i'll adjust them.
Thanks
