Key: COCOON-1953
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COCOON-1953
Project: Cocoon
Issue Type: Wish
Components: - Documentation
Affects Versions: 2.1.9
Reporter: Kazimierz Pogoda
URL of the website: http://www.ncdc.pl/
Title of the website: Nordic Consulting & Development Company
Cocoon version used: 2.1.9
Short summary of your site: Software development and IT consulting company
specialised in Oracle, Java and .NET technologies for customers mainly
operating in European financial/insurance markets.
It is also tailored for customers operating within the large format printing
market.
How can we verify this site is actually built with Cocoon?
It would be hard, because all content is generated to static form and served by
apache. We are using xmlcleanup transformer with default settings, thus final
html is "clean" in cocoon specific or rather tidy specific way.
In the future, we will probably host this site with tomcat.
How much time did it take to build the site from design to publication?
Building of the site is incremental process. I started with stubs from my
previous cocoon projects and with some stylesheets taken from forrest, so I
wasn't building from the ground. As a result it's hard to say how much time has
been spent on this project.
How many people were involved in the project? One
How much traffic does the site handle?
Site is targeted at our employees and customers, and as our business is highly
specialized, traffic is quite low.
What made you choose Cocoon to build the site?
Because I had created some other cocoon based sites before (starting from
cocoon 1.8), and this is my favorite web framework (idea of splitting content,
design and management).
