explicitly set version numbers because of the Maven 2 - Java 1.4 bug (that has
hit us soooo many times)
I believe this is fixed in 2.0.9. I wanted to switch to this version earlier[1] but only then I
realized that we'll need an updated Maven on Continuum.
Not sure how hard is to achieve this.
