All released modules have a "Download" section that also contain information about how to add them as dependencies to a POM. E.g.http://cocoon.apache.org/2.2/blocks/forms/1.0/1444_1_1.html

well, speaking of that one in particular... the blocks listing page

    http://cocoon.apache.org/2.2/blocks/

gives version "1.0" for Forms. But the site you reference above:

    http://cocoon.apache.org/2.2/blocks/forms/1.0/1444_1_1.html

(which is linked to from the blocks listing page) gives "1.1.0" as the version. The latter appears correct, since I see:

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/cocoon/tags/cocoon-2.2/cocoon-forms-impl/cocoon-forms-impl-1.1.0/

So, questions:

1) Is the blocks listing page wrong?

yes

2) How about the Download page? The version info on the page is correct, but shouldn't the URI be something like

    http://cocoon.apache.org/2.2/blocks/forms/1.1.0/whatever.html

yes, that should be corrected.

^^^

??

and,

3) What is the deal with

    http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/cocoon/tags/cocoon-2.2/cocoon-forms/

Does that have any function, other than to confuse people who are trying to come to grips with the tag scheme? :-) Should it be deleted?

Long time ago we had a parent POM for each module that usually included the '*-impl' and '*-sample' modules. We can't delete it because this would break the build if someone does some software forensic and wants to use the M1 release of Cocoon 2.2.
