Oh, there is an outstanding issue there. The class
comment for ExtendedMessageFormat is:
* Extends <code>MessageFormat</code> to allow
pluggable/additional formatting
* options for embedded format elements; requires
elaboration.
"requires elaboration" is a meta-comment, obviously.
