There are a couple of extensions regarding thread pooling and scheduling that I would, in an ideal world, make to the java.util.concurrent package. I am trying to find the right open source project to contribute them to.
Since commons contains the dormant threadpool project I thought it might be an appropriate place to start. Is resurrecting this dormant project the way to go? Or can someone point me to another open source project that would be more appropriate?
