Hi. I propose to resolve the issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MATH-349 by - creating private setter methods - modify the "setNormal" method to enforce consistency - mark all setters in *all* the "...Ditribution" interfaces and "...DistributionImpl" classes as deprecated
