just a small pointer: I created JIRA VFS-500 to track the inclusion of my
patch for VFSClassLoader#findResource(String) which was a not implemented
method. It also contains a Unit test which checks for the ability to load
from JAR files (which was not tested before).
The change is in a pull request on github (the email that a new pull
request is issued did not show up here on the list, so I guess INFRA-6764
is still open.
