Havent found something in the job config.
Maven is started with

From what I read in the "configure" page of the Jenkins interface,
it is not possible for a module to override the settings of the
"parent" configuration!
Hence I don't see how Jenkins can be used to check the different
settings (Java 6 vs Java 7) of the modules's respective POM's...
