Hello.

The Apache Commons Team is pleased to announce the availability of
the first official release of "Apache Commons RNG".

Apache Commons RNG provides Java implementations of pseudo-random
numbers generators.

The release notes can be reviewed at
  http://www.apache.org/dist/commons/rng/RELEASE-NOTES.txt

Distribution packages can be downloaded from
  https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-rng/download_rng.cgi

When downloading, please verify signatures using the KEYS file
available at
  http://www.apache.org/dist/commons

That should really be:

https://www.apache.org/dist/commons/KEYS

i.e. should use https:
and the mail should specify the file itself (there are a lot of
entries in that directory; make it as easy as poss.)

Thanks for the reminder (already pointed at by Stian for
the "[vote]" template)!

I should have triple-checked each line of "copy/paste"
material too:[1]
  http://markmail.org/message/k62llp6lvdbqdgjv
  http://markmail.org/message/himga7bsuc2fvpzj
  http://markmail.org/message/7excqj755qfafrvy
(and probably most of earlier announcements).

Regards,
Gilles

[1] Double-check was done in order to achieve the release (which
needed, again, a lot of adjustments and modifications):
https://git1-us-west.apache.org/repos/asf?p=commons-rng.git;a=history;f=doc/release/release.howto.txt

Maven artifacts are also available in the central Maven repository:
  http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/commons/

Best regards,
The Apache Commons Team
