Why not just fix the links?
All the artefacts now have sha512 hashes now; it is only the links
that are wrong in the POM.
It should be enough to drop:
<commons.release.3.hash>sha256</commons.release.3.hash>
and
<commons.release.4.hash>sha256</commons.release.4.hash>
