Hi, I'm an undergraduate at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and I'm hoping to have an exciting summer with GSoC 2010.
I went through the idea list<https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&requestId=12314021> of ASF and found https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-4587?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel sounds interesting, since I have a sounding knowledge in SQL & Java. I would like to know what sort of documents that I should read as a kick off for this project, currently I'm reading http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/getstart/.
