Hi all, I was looking for something to do over the summer, and the mentoring program looked like a good choice. I've recently developed an interest in filesystems and NoSQL databases, so I'm interested in working on CouchDB or Hadoop. So far, I've messed around with CouchDB and submitted a small patch for a bug. Is one of these projects a better candidate for mentoring, or should I keep looking into both? Also, if I decide I want to work on one, is that project's mailing list the right place to ask for project ideas?
