Since I'm getting this question from a number of people, I thought I'd
post the schedule, from our producer:

Our distribution plan will be as follows:
Monday beginning late morning PT: One-on-one outreach to top tier
reporters and analysts with the news and an invitation to join us.
Tuesday, 5:00 a.m. PT. 8:00 a.m. ET: The release will cross the U.S.
newswire, be posted to LF newsroom (linuxfoundation.org) and in
ApacheCon and Linux Foundation social channels, and be sent to remaining
journalists who didn't receive it in advance.
We'll begin ongoing social posts at that point. No more than two/day
until we begin specific social campaigns.
You are free to begin doing email blasts Tuesday at 5:00 a.m. PT/8:00
a.m. ET.

So, we should have a CFP out there first thing tomorrow morning, and LF
will be pushing the news through all their channels, and counting on us
to do the same on our side.
