Yes - and we need to more clearly provide pointers (than the below) so we don't forget what's what when services go down or someone wants to contribute something new to a service. # Snoot access for projects https://snoot.io/ PMC members (only) may signup with @apache.org email and a code at: https://preview.snoot.io/signup.html Not strictly a comdev responsibility, but an obvious place to link it. # Twitter handle list of projects https://github.com/trikaladvisers/opensource/blob/master/ASF-Projects-having-Twitter-List.html May need validation. Also is GPL, so we can't publish it. It will also help to note which services are ComDev responsibility vs. infra responsibility. We need to make sure people know not to complain to infra when a ComDev service needs work. 8-) > > So why do a stocktake? Things and people change over time and > sometimes information is lost. It would be helpful to have a single place to list those efforts. I.e. I agree with sebb elsethread that technical documentation belongs alongside the code - but having a single central "these are new projects someone *is* working on" place to point out would be helpful. I'd recommend a new page on the website, personally. > > I know that we have some resources at the links below: (so will be > using them as a starting point) > > https://community.apache.org/about/ > > https://community.apache.org/newbiefaq.html#comdevweb > > So if you know of anything else that doesn't appear then please let > me know and we'll start putting a complete list together. > > Ideally we would want to know what the tool, application or task is, > who the main contact person is, and any knowledge about how to access > and use it. > > Thanks Sharan -- - Shane https://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/resources --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@community.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@community.apache.org
