Sebb commented on COMDEV-312: ----------------------------- [~humbedooh] The p.a.o data file only has entries back to 1999 - were there no entries before that? Also there are quite a few discrepancies in the counts since LDAP was introduced. There are some possible explanations (e.g. my account was deleted/recreated in 2011) but I would expect these to be very rare. Is there a list of the data that was extracted? In particular, ids and dates. That would allow Whimsy overrides to be corrected, and would show if there are any ids counted twice - e.g. if an account was not added to LDAP initially, but was added later on. > Committer count disagrees with Whimsy > ------------------------------------- > > Key: COMDEV-312 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMDEV-312 > Project: Community Development > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Projects Tool > Reporter: Sebb > Priority: Major > > The total committer count on the timeline page > [https://projects.apache.org/timelines.html] (currently 7145) > disagrees with the Whimsy count shown here: > [https://whimsy.apache.org/roster/] (currently 6806) > This is a difference of over 330. > Some of this may be due to early committers who were not migrated to LDAP, > presumably because they had stopped contributing. > It's confusing to have such a discrepancy. > It would be better to use the Whimsy data file: > [https://whimsy.apache.org/public/public_ldap_people.json] > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@community.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@community.apache.org
