Hello, please forward this email to the relevant people!
I have just installed Apache NetBeans IDE 12.0 and want to report a failure. I
started at the pagehttps://netbeans.apache.org/ , which contains no information
of, or link to, where to report a failure. I navigated
tohttps://blogs.apache.org/netbeans/ hoping to find a form in which I can
report the failure. No luck with that so I click on "Get Involved", which takes
me to the pagehttps://apache.org/foundation/getinvolved.html hoping to find a
form in which I can report the failure. No luck with that so I click on "Report
bugs/request features", which once again takes me to another
page:https://issues.apache.org/ , which effectively states that I need to go to
yet another page just to find out which of the issue tracking systems to use.
So I do so by clicking on "project resource listing", which once again takes me
to another page:https://projects.apache.org/projects.html . I find the name
Apache Netbeans and click on it to find out which issue tracking system to use.
This takes me, once again, to another
page:https://projects.apache.org/project.html?netbeans , but which does NOT (!)
provide me any information of which issue tracking system to use, which is a
prerequisite to use the web page two pages earlier in the long chain of web
pages visited.
On what page can a user report a failure without getting lost in
time-consuming subordinate tasks?
Best wishes!
