I want to thank all the people that made C/C EU 2024 Bratislava such an enjoyable conference.
I will not be naming names, but I will say that the program committee made my job as chair very easy, and I recognize that each of those organizers both gave freely of their time and depended upon others to help them and make their work supporting the conference easier. There were all the track leads and co-track leads, and speakers without whom the conference would have been an empty space. There are also the people you may not have seen at the conference: the ones who found and arranged for the space, the ones who made sure that there were refreshments, the ones who made sure the wifi worked, the ones who developed the the fun breaks like the photo booth (without the booth), the ones who ensured that there was space for raucous conversation, quiet reflection, and the private space to take that phone call. To all the people that organized and dreamt up and produced the conference: thank you. To all the attendees who decided to be adventurous and make the trip Bratislava, who came to hear the talks but also host the discussions in the hallways tracks, in front of posters, in bars and pubs and restaurants. Who came with a sense of adventure and who did not disappoint; thank you for making the conference a success.
