master and not stored on the slave?

Why is a data import needed?

(FWIW, I think integrating backup/restore into the UI is a good thing, as
is improving/solidifying the current upgrade process).

Wendy mentioned she has a dozen of Continum instances to convert into slave build agents, and the data from those instances need to be transferred to a
central instance first.  I think that's what the importer is trying to
address.
