Just a quick note to say that we worked around our particular issue by
preventing our AJAX requests from even starting if a network connection is not
present. (Note: <CB-1807>).
It seems unlikely that we were experiencing the same issue as most of the
others here who don't seem to be doing AJAX requests. But if you ARE doing an
AJAX request at any point when a connection is not present, or has been dropped
or temporarily lost, the app can present the same UI freeze symptoms upon
resume.
