I'm not going to accept the changes to the .py files, unless there's some
reason I have to.
I'm not going to accept the changes to the .js files involving var -> const
Open up separate issues for these if you feel they must be made, and let me
know if - lurking in all these .py and .js changes, there is actually
interesting meaty stuff that we need - I didn't notice anything.
