Honestly, I noticed that he said that Objective-C > HTML5. The reason I started the Android version of PhoneGap was because I wanted apps on my phone, and I wasn't going to give Apple any of my money. Android users are the big losers if iOS fails, because people are just going to write their iPhone app, and completely ignore Android because of the myths of "Android users don't have money" and "Android users are all nerds anyway", and other things like that.
