I voted +1 in [Vote] thread, but I see there is some formatting issue in
RELEASENOTES.md (missing beginning bullets in lines) - I've created associated
JIRA issue to fix this in master after release
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-9927

Thx!

Subject: Re: [DISCUSS] Cordova-ios 3.9.2 release

One issue:

I voted +1 in the [VOTE] thread because I didn't want to delay a vote for a
change that didn't affect the release:
When you do a `cordova platform add
https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fgithub.com%2fapache%2fcordova-ios.git%233.9.2%60&data=01%7c01%7cv-segreb%40microsoft.com%7c9daf0253edfc403e9db008d2e18dfb06%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=C8ADTtA0Q%2bzGiwESfu5y9QyLXQT1VidGfvEqYCy%2f2Z4%3d
 it first downloads master then checks the tag out, and that works, that was
the bug, only during a clone.

For the npm package itself, it just downloads the zip/tarball and uncompresses
it into our .cordova/lib/npm_cache/cordova-ios (no clone
involved) and that gets copied into platforms/ios so it doesn't affect the npm
package release itself.
