About the tests. I think futon should detect what browser the user is using and if futon is known not to work/is not tested on that user browser, we should clearly display a message warning the user about it such as "tests might not work on your browser, please try with browser xyz instead". Otherwise he will think there's something wrong with his installation, it happened to me and it happened to tons of people on irc. Just an idea =)
