Replication from Futon does not copy design docs with admin authentication

If I go into Futon, and select local to local replication. Admin authentication
is turned on. I enter the credentials. Then it begins replicating, but fails on
design documents. This should work, or at least one shouldn't have to specify a
local database as a "remote" to get it to work.
