I did not find anything at http://couchdb.apache.org about version numbering philosophy for couchdb.
A nit, no doubt, and still, 0.9 > 0.10 mathematically and Erlangy. (and 0.9 == 0.90) The previous version was 0.8.x, less than the current version. Makes sense to me as the newer release number is higher than an older release. I would have expected the next version to be something such as 0.91.0 or 0.9.1 as the release approaches 1.0.0 and beyond. So, why is the next version a smaller number than the current version ? thanks, and please advise, ~Michael
