Unescaped database name in Location header in 201 response after document
creation

Key: COUCHDB-411
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-411
Project: CouchDB
Issue Type: Bug
Components: HTTP Interface
Affects Versions: 0.9
Environment: Mac OS X 10.5.7 / CouchDBX-0.9.0-R13B
Reporter: David Zülke
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 0.9.1
I just did a PUT on /test_suite_db%2Fwith_slashes/ to create a new document,
and the Location header in the 201 Created response had a literal slash in the
database name instead; the resulting URL of course yields a 404:
{code:title=HTTP Request}
POST /test_suite_db%2Fwith_slashes/ HTTP/1.0
Host: localhost:5984
User-Agent: PHPCouch/1.0.0-dev
Accept: */*, application/json
Content-Length: 13
Content-Type: application/json
{"foo":"bar"}
{/code}
{code:title=HTTP Request}
HTTP/1.0 201 Created
Server: CouchDB/0.9.0 (Erlang OTP/R13B)
Location:
http://localhost:5984/test_suite_db/with_slashes/d578ca758745a89add2c369695fcd9ec
Date: Sun, 12 Jul 2009 15:10:08 GMT
Content-Type: application/json
Content-Length: 73
Cache-Control: must-revalidate
{"ok":true,"id":"d578ca758745a89add2c369695fcd9ec","rev":"1-1120917420"}
{/code}
