Tested on Ubuntu Karmic in Firefox 3.5.
(Interesting aside: the test suite hangs on view_collation in a recent
Chromium nightly build. As this is an alpha browser my vote is still

Safari 4 beta had a simliar issue. Could it be that you are running out
of memory? This test is using some higher-plane unicode characters
and I think the devs just punted on making garbage collection run
properly for these during the beta phase. Safari 4 doesn't have that
problem.
