Interesting, why did it affect OAuth? OAuth shouldn't care about
what's in the request body as it only operates on the request

oh, and the other funny thing is that with this patch applied, the
oauth and cookie_auth tests break, because they try to upload a secret
that is invalid UTF-8 :-P.
