In my case, it's a put request and pull replication, which doesn't use bulk
docs.
Maybe in Germain's case it is a push replication, so it could be bulk docs.
If it's taking longer than 30 seconds for bulk docs to complete, how should we
handle this?
We could increase the timeout the same way we increase the pause time in the
backoff code, but I'm not sure this is the right way to handle it.
