the only thing I see here is that the line:

MaxConnections = couch_config:get("httpd", "max_connections", 2048),

should instead specify 2048 as "2048" and parse the string to int, as in cases 
where it's config'd, I think we'll get a string back.

At least that's how couch deals with numeric config elsewhere.
