The oauth.js shipped with CouchDB (as well as the latest version) contains a
trivial bug.
I submitted a patch upstream,
http://code.google.com/p/oauth/issues/detail?id=173 (no response yet from the
author)
I would commit this myself to the CouchDB svn repo but I don't have yet the
commit privilege.
