Yeah, cool! Actually it is the plan to "make this the main official wiki for CouchDB". However, I've got the impression that currently there's a bit of a lack of people pushing it forward.
Maybe you can check whether an according issue isn't already filed. If that's not the case, changing this issue would indeed make sense.
