Thanks Noah. I've been following best practices I picked up along the way. I think the XXXX-YYYY notation is a valid shortcut for listing all years between XXXX and YYYY including XXXX and YYYY, rather than having to specify each year specifically. If we'd not make a release in a a year in a range, it'd have to be WWWW-XXXX, ZZZZZ (i.e. no release in YYYY). That said, happy to get set straight by legal@ :) Cheers Jan -- > > On 19 Jul 2011, at 18:24, [email protected] wrote: > >> Author: jan >> Date: Tue Jul 19 17:24:04 2011 >> New Revision: 1148456 >> >> URL: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1148456&view=rev >> Log: >> update year in NOTICE >> >> Modified: >> couchdb/trunk/NOTICE >> >> Modified: couchdb/trunk/NOTICE >> URL: >> http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/couchdb/trunk/NOTICE?rev=1148456&r1=1148455&r2=1148456&view=diff >> ============================================================================== >> --- couchdb/trunk/NOTICE (original) >> +++ couchdb/trunk/NOTICE Tue Jul 19 17:24:04 2011 >> @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ >> Apache CouchDB >> -Copyright 2009 The Apache Software Foundation >> +Copyright 2009-2011 The Apache Software Foundation >> >> This product includes software developed at >> The Apache Software Foundation (http://www.apache.org/). >> >> >
