DB Compaction does not log detected / removed duplicates

According to Robert News on user@ [1] the db compaction does not log detected /
removed duplicates.
Even if one assumes that no new duplicates are created with recent versions,
there might still be existing databases with duplicates. Detecting such would
be made easier if db compaction would log any found occurances.
