When I rewrote the indexer I fixed part of the view compaction tasks status by
adding a reduce function to the id tree in each view file. This borks when we
try and upgrade indexes from previous versions. Reverting this fix until we get
to a 2.0 or some such where we can require a dump load of the db data.
