We couchdb logs are requested (http://127.0.0.1:5984/_log) they are currently
returned in a text format. It would be nice to have the option of getting them
returned in json format. This makes it easier to work with them in javascript
or any other language as we would not need to do heavy parsing on the logs.
I originally submitted this as a pull request
(https://github.com/apache/couchdb/pull/39) but its more appropriate to have it
as an issue.
As this stage the code submitted is not good enough to be merged in. If someone
else is interested in improving or rewriting this it would be great.
If we could make this an http EventSource that would be great as well.
