@[~arpitm] As Dave mentioned, you can try out fauxton in our master branch.
However, I'm doubtful if this will solve the issue. The importance for checking
Futon is that it's under heavy development currently and it's the best target
for getting features in that might best support your use-case. All told, unless
this can be reproduced elsewhere, I really think you're running into hardware
and browser limitations. There isn't a very reasonable workaround for this
other than freeing up resources on your machine. I agree with Dave here that
there isn't even a reasonable method by which we could determine if the doc is
a problem, other than to attempt to render it.
What I'd be interesting in seeing is some settable timeout for document
rendering with a good fallback mechanism if timeout is reached. Additionally, I
agree with Benoit in that it would be incredibly useful to have a set of
complex docs to test with.
I'm +1 on closing this, as I think it's well outside of the scope of Futon to
discover hardware and/or rendering limitations.
