Resolution: Fixed
This is fixed in commit cbbd7d56b52a44937adb35678aa4a0b200334399.
We need to rework the footer views and the Fauxton api module so that the load
order permits base Fauxton views to extend from FauxtonAPI.View, but that's a
separate issue.
